CLUB HISTORY

Chadstone Lacrosse Club was founded in 1960 by David Cohen and Bill Gray Sr, as a feeder club for the Melbourne Cricket Club, Lacrosse Division.

The Club was initially called the "Cardinals" and fielded teams in the men's divisions of the Victorian Lacrosse Association league.

In the late 80's the club introduced a women's program which quickly found success quickly found success in the Victorian Women's Lacrosse Association winning the B-Grade premiership.

The men's teams most successful period was in the late 1980's when the club made two grand final appearances in the State League competition falling short to Williamstown in 1985 and Malvern by 1 goal in 1987.

The Club's most recent success was the double premiership season in 2017 when both the Men's Division One program and the Women's B-Grade program both won grand finals against Williamstown and Newport respectively.
