Big congratulations for James Conheady. His next game will be his 300th Senior game for Chaddy.
James started out in an U11 team after being recruited by Jorge Menidis at a school clinic. then he has played every year- even 2020 ‘cause he went to Burnside! Only one year was marred by a bad injury, but he still managed some games before.
James took up longpole in U15’s and has been a defence man ever since. His long association with Chaddy has had many facets – President, Junior co-ordinator, Stonnington ‘Young Citizen of the Year’, to name just a few. James says the highlight of his playing career was his Premierships in 2010 and 2016, but I know he was pretty happy scoring a goal in our last game in Div 2!
Outside of Lacrosse James is a qualified engineer and is part of a Chaddy lacrosse family -Mary a Life Member and brothers Clem and Patrick, who both played lacrosse too.
